End Of A Good Profitable Month.
Sunday 31st. Last day of a cracking month for both my services, although we did have to endure a losing day yesterday. Why ever did the Henry Candy team run LIMATO on the rain softened ground at Haydock. Even the good Doctor couldn’t get us a winner last night at Chepstow and when that happens you know it’s not your day.
It was the big wedding last night and gosh what a glorious show they put on, the church sermon was like pulling teeth though with the victor, pastor or whatever is his preferred title rattling on for over an hour, but from then onwards it was truly amazing.
From the time we arrived at the reception the canopies were continually brought round and whatever drink was your preferred was on tap all night. The girl singer should of represented Malta in the Eurovison’s last week, well us as well come to that, where ever did we find our dribble from, surely we have better out there.
Anyway many thanks to Jessica, Dennis and their respective families as it was a wonderful day and a great experience.
Back to reality this morning as we still have a living to make and hopefully the two we have to back today LA MADONNIA at Fakenham, who I’m told is a good 2/1 shot and CONAS TAIO who is a cracking ew bet at 6/1 will help our tireless quest for profits, also we should pop them in a small ew double.
After many years of visiting Malta we have come to know that Sunday’s are bit of a cult religion, all the ladies dress in their finest, tightest and highest heels and parade themselves through the market and finally come to rest in the square, at Vince’s bar or the Pjazza (Sunday bar) to take the weight off their feet, yes literally for most of them as “most” Maltese ladies could give Man v Food a run for his money, note Grat most not all.
Anyway we always rock up at the Sunday bar about 11ish to witness the parade and partake in the masses of nibbles that constantly appear, not just one bowl of left over roast potatoes, if your lucky like home, but plates and plates of chicken wings, pizza, pasta, snails, tripe, chips and Italian tomatoed bread. This continues until about 3ish and all of a sudden it’s siesta time and the place is empty.
I get back to our digs to see that bastard last fence at Fakenham has done us again, we had the race well and truly won with LA MADONNIA, when she got it all wrong and fell, gutted or what. The rain had got into the ground and blunted CONAS TAIO’s chances of a win but the information was correct as he was smashed up in the betting into 11/4 fav, but he did get us a place and a small ew profit unfortunately our ew double lay on the floor at the last with LA MADONNIA.
Monday 1st. Funny isn’t it how you never want a winning month to end and a losing one goes on forever.
Right boys and girls the scores on the doors are all “0” it’s the first of the month let’s see how all you Super new services do now we are all on a level live playing field, saying that I do wish you all the best, as you all know I love people winning and winners.
Today the Luca Cumani trained LAURENCE who won last time at Newmarket and looked as if he had more to come after only getting the hang of things late on under today’s rider Adam Kirby, so I email him out as a win bet and suggest taking the 2/1.
VEERYA has no form to talk of this year but I know for a fact that he is very well fancied and is expected to run a big race, on that basis I think the 10/1 on offer is a big price and I also suggest taking that.
Just before we leave for Gnenja bay, our favourite place, I have one call and one text from two good judges telling me that two shorties are fully expected to win. BESHARAH came fourth on his debut and has galloped with a horse rated in his 80’s the last twice and is trading at 8/13, if my information is correct he should be at least a 2’s on shot. Although ACCRA BEECH is still a maiden his form is far the best on show and at 5/4 in a place and even money in most he is also a must bet. As time has rocked on I put both these on my LATE service as maximum bets and also suggest a large win double.
I’m not going to piss you off by telling you that it’s 24 degrees and the sea is like a bath, but it is and I hope you all already have your own holidays booked, if not I’m going to hopefully win again this month and help you pay for them.
I hope it’s not my pocket talking but I don’t think it was Adams (Kirby’s) finest moment on LAURENCE as he found trouble at the crucial time and couldn’t pick up again when the gap did appear and finished second. We got one thing right as VEERYA was smashed up in the betting and went off 5/1 favourite, but that didn’t help him get a place and I think he is one for another day and very shortly.
Once again it’s the LATE service that has smashed the greedy ones with both our shorties scooting in and making 17 points profit on the day and again have hit the ground of a new month running.
Tuesday 2nd. Great start to the month once again by my LATE service as we had two bets and two winners and a nice win double as well making over 17 points profit on the day. I do keep urging all my clients to join both services as with the greatest of respect I don’t know what horses are actually going to win and it’s also very dependent on what time I get the nod as to which service they are emailed to, although what I do know is all the information is always the best and very strong.
All is not wonderful this morning as I’m packing to catch the smartie pot home tonight, although the sun did do its job as we had a very good winning time on both my services whilst out here.
Last night whilst having our farewell Chinese I received very strong information on the Ed Dunlop trained TAQNEEN who runs tonight at Wolverhampton and is trading at 4/1 at time of advising my ANDY BELL’s clients which I urge must be taken. He had his excuses last time as the Ripon trip stretched him and coupled with the soft ground he had no chance, tonight I’m told a shorter trip and on a different surface he will be a different proposition.
The flight was crap, the drink was unable to soften things because I had to drive at the other end, passport control looked like the gates at Wembley last week and TAQNEEN after trading slightly odds on in running didn’t deliver, so in all welcome home Belly Boy.
Wednesday 3rd. Home sweet home, it was a late flight as we didn’t land until about 1am and by the time we passed through security and got our cases I found myself bypassing Newmarket at about 4am, another hour or so I could of seen a couple of the first strings gallop.
After a very successful weeks punting whilst away, now I’m home things don’t seem to have slowed up as I have two definite strong bets today already and I am awaiting on confirmation on one tonight that could possibly be a maximum. I email out to my ANDY BELL’s clients ARGUS who ran at Newmarket when we had a jolly boys there and was backed from 9/1 into 4/1 fav and ran on strongly, but didn’t quite get us a place and was reportedly finding the ground to fast after the race, so today’s surface and distance look ideal and he is expected to win. Secondly the Mel Briton trained CAPE CASTLE is expected to relish the extra distance today and I’m told he is a must bet ew at 6/1. Still no news on our possible maximum tonight so he will have to go on the LATE service if it or he materializes.
I have a couple of very special gambles lined up in the next couple of weeks and if all goes to plan we should all clear a right nice few quid. I have just booked a hotel up which is just outside Ascot and I shall be at the Royal meeting for at least three days and more depends on how good the Newmarket cards are in the latter part of the week.
The Easterby clan left their money behind last time on MYSTIC MIRAAJ after a less than ideal ride last time when he was to far back and was a very fast finishing third, trading at 5/2, I advise taking the price tonight on my LATE service email.
Oi Oi great start to our day as CAPE CASTLE bolts in by seven lengths at a better sp of 7/1, you know whats next best odds guaranteed comes up trumps again.
Now we have the wait for our two runners tonight.
Thursday 4th. Wow as I said only Tuesday I had three bets yesterday, all of which were considered strong bets by me and my contacts, but in our opinions MYSTIC MIRAAJ was the strongest of the three, so what happens CAPE CASTLE bolts in by seven lengths at 7/1 sp and ARGUS the further he went the better he went and won nice and easily at a well backed even money from my advised 15/8 and yes you already guessed or know MYSTIC MIRAAJ went too early this time after looking a good thing two out and came second 10 clear of the third. So I reiterate sometimes we just don’t know ourselves the outcomes, that’s why it’s imperative to be part of both my services.
This morning I have four pieces of information two from my flat people and two from my jumps, so in my infinite wisdom I decide to do two ew doubles, one for the jumps and one for the flat.
My flat ew double is KING CALYPSO at 9/2 and MIGHTY ZIP at 11/4 both at Kempton tonight and CELTIC INTRIGUE at 9/2 and CANICALLYOUBACK at 7/2 also both at Ffos Las tonight.
I’m hoping to spend at few days on the Northern circuit racing next week, Shhhh don’t tell Simon Holden as he will suddenly have some mysterious meetings down south pop up.
Nothing else has come through so I leave my LATE service as a no bet and sitting somewhere near the top for another day.
We have a great start as CELTIC INTRIGUE wins and gives a super start to our days betting and returns a really good sp of 5/1, setting us up with a possible 5/1 and a 7/2 ew double making us over 40 points profit if we cop. MIGHTY ZIP nicks us third which I think is ok and then I notice that Charlie has pulled out his THREE GRACEZ and runs it at Epson tomorrow so I’m gutted as that leaves only the 7 runners and two places. Now we are reliant on CANICALLYOUBACK and jumping the last I think oi oi we have done it, only to get done on the run in and finish second making us a soppy 3 points profit instead of about 43, gutted.com or what.
We are warming nicely trust me, we will be hitting heady heights again very soon, trust me I’m a doctor.
Friday 5th. No Epsom for me this year I don’t want to waste time being stuck in traffic, or being pushed and bustled around, I want to be bang on my metal and don’t want a trick to pass me or us by.
Don’t these weeks just fly past it doesn’t seem two minutes ago we were getting excited about Cheltenham, than the Craven, the Dante has now passed us by and all of a sudden it’s all eyes on the Oaks today, the big one tomorrow the Derby and then straight into Royal Ascot.
it’s the Oaks today and I am going to back LEGATISSIMO and unless there’s a big shock I can’t see her getting beat.
Tomorrow personally I’m not convinced that the hot favourite will stay, we won our money when we backed him in the Dante so I think I shall swerve him.
Back next Saturday.
