Good Morning & Greetings…
My name is Simon Holden and we’re going to be spending Saturday mornings together. I hope to be as big a part of your Saturday as The Morning Line (oh have you stopped watching it too) well a big part of your Weekend Punting Portfolio!
My long running service SLG – Stable Line Gold was top of the BetFan chart in April landing some massive insider gambles along the way. All time proofing of SLG stands at +974.40 points!
Thrilling and proof that I do and always will beat the old enemy. However we have some very exciting news to share with you, I have been researching and developing the successor to the mighty SLG for months and today in my first Saturday Column I can reveal that very soon the Simon Holden Racing Club will be launching here at BetFan. If we were going to do something new then it has to be the very best out there and that’s exactly what we’ve done.
Stable Line Gold has been one of the most successful tipping sites but it’s an inside information service and the Simon Holden Racing Club will be much, much bigger and better.
The inside info gambles will still be there don’t worry about that but the last six months have been something of a sabbatical for me in that I have been working with someone to develop some very sophisticated unique handicap ratings. These have stood up to rigorous proofing and I can tell you now I’m more excited about the bets that are being generated here than I have ever been in the twenty five years in this game. The only place these racing bets will be available is through my new Racing Club.
So we have the inside info sorted and we have unique and hugely profitable ratings but that’s just the start, during the last six months I’ve been asking and researching what people want from a new service and I’ve listened!
There will not be a bet every day only when the odds are in our favour but I do appreciate many members regularly watch the racing and want advice so I will produce regular race day bulletins with pointers, trends, and selections as free bonuses. It will be all you need in the age old battle to smash the bookies and beat the odds.
There will be one off podcasts and race day radio events exclusively for racing club members… the opportunities are endless. You will not be in a tipping service you will be in a UNIQUE Private Racing Club and on my winning team!
I set myself and everyone at BetFan Towers (except the caretaker) a task six months ago to develop the most comprehensive Race Betting Club on the market. Now it’s time to bring it to you and the doors are opening very soon.
BetFan obviously asked me to proof my racing bets which I agreed to do in private and the results have been nothing short of extraordinary with great profits every month and over 550 Points in the bag at the time of writing.
This is the the right time of the year and everything has pointed to us going live mid flat season, the very time when Bookmakers are at their most vulnerable with evening racing thrown into the mix too.
Three days on the Knavesmire where the Sun was shining and the bookmakers were whining. I spoke to Geoff Banks the ebullient rails layer who said York is the best Racecourse there is while guzzling on a bizarre drink filled with umbrellas. Del Boy would have found it tacky. Banks and his fellow layers took a pasting on day 1 particularly on So Mi Dar who was very impressive in the Oaks Trial. However the flop of Mid term in the Dante will have refilled the coffers up. Mid Term hated the fast ground here but I wouldn’t cross him off your lists for the Derby just yet, a soft ground at Epsom is not out of the question and he could well reprieve his damaged reputation. The winner Wings of Desire impressed but not as a likely Derby winner for me I’m afraid. Still they do say there is never a bad Dante so keep an eye on the first four home and don’t give up on Mid Term!
Today’s big race is the Group 1 Lockinge Stakes at 3.55 and it’s a typically competitive renewal. With recent rain there has been a huge move for the Clive Cox trained Kodi Bear who must have a massive chance. He did nothing but improve last year and will be tough to beat. I will be opposing him though with a horse who last time out received a Pitiful ride from William Buick. The horse is Belardo who was set a task that Pegasus himself would have struggled with by the hapless Buick. With cut in the ground and a truer pace plus the assistance of the brilliant Andrea Atzeni I think Berardo will be adding a Group 1 to his resume.
Have a great punting Saturday and I shall return with more news from the Racing World next Saturday.
The Simon Holden Racing Club is coming very soon and it will be the Hottest Ticket in town.
Back next Saturday.
