A barnstorming week on the knavesmire for the Simon Holden Racing club finished yesterday and it may have been soaking wet but our spirits were high as winner after winner rained in with a 80 point profit on the week.
We kick-off with Master Carpenter in the very first race @14/1 who romped home then Santry @5/1 and Here Comes When @14/1. More super profits and well on the way to another big month.
If you want to take your betting to the next level then join me this is going to be our biggest Flat season of them all.
York was very, very soggy and the crowds were well down racing is definitely a good weather pursuit. There was a good gathering of BetFan tipsters including Andy the wrecking ball Bell and Eddie the Satnav Lloyd.
Mr Bell was in fine form including a prank of hiding my mobile phone, so clever was the hiding place that he couldn’t remember where it was. As pranks go it was right up there. Eddie Lloyd was in the Champagne bar all day I’m not sure he even knew there was racing on so it was left to yours truly to do the paddock watching.
York really is the best track in the UK and if you haven’t been change that because it’s the perfect racing experience.
Today the show moves down to Newbury and so do I and I firmly believe I will be witnessing Galileo Gold winning the Lockinge.
Hugo Palmers superstar makes his reappearance and the vibes are very positive for the Guineas winner. It’s a group one race so dangers abound but the cut in the ground is perfect for our boy and at 4/1 with Paddy Power he will do very nicely .
Have a great weekend and join me for two big gambles today and at Windsor this Monday we have a max bet that you must not miss.
Back next Saturday.
