Welcome to another Tuesday news letter from Unity Racing Club. We had a decent day at Ascot on Saturday thanks largely to Mussadas who won for us at 8/1 advised price 7/1 sp making all and kicking clear in the style of a nice horse. He will progress further in time.
The day was nearly huge however with a 50/1 advised price each way bet on Belardo a fast finishing 2nd to Solow. At only 3 years young this horse will have a big future if it continues to go forward and there should be races to be won with him. Definitely one to watch out for!
As promised last week we have more horses to watch out for in the coming jumps season.
INSTAGRAM – 3 y Gelding with David Pipe. I can see this horse running up a sequence in the UK after a very nice win in France. He is just the type that this team likes. He also boasts a really classy pedigree with his dad a group one winner at Longchamp and his dam a duel group 3 winners over around 10 furlongs. This horse has a touch of class I can’t wait for his first race this side of the channel.
BAGS GROVE 4yo gelding – Harry Fry. As yet unraced. However this horse has a great National Hunt pedigree and after looking him over a few months ago, also has the size and scope to make up into a really nice type. By Oscar from a roselier mare I will be surprised if this horse doesn’t win his fair share of races, especially with Harry who is one of the best young trainers in the country.
Next week’s newsletter will contain more jumping horses that should make a big splash this jump season. It will also contain a couple of dark horses that we are hoping will win at decent prices. Until then we hope you have a successful week.
