Just a small profit delivered in last week’s news letter with a couple of good winners 5/1 and 9/4. It could have been more after Rosy Ryan finished with a late rattle and was only just deigned. We finished November with a small profit after a very frustrating month around 16 2nd placed horses and 4 fallers has cost us plenty. Still I will take the profit.
December has started pretty well with LAMB OR COD winning at 6/1 on Saturday then Sunday we landed 2 bets from 3 advised the night before at 11/1 small r4 and 10/1 and going off after a gamble at 5/1 and 13/2 both horses won easy. Yet more importantly both won Christmas money Gambles for connections involved. That leaves us with a 115% Roi for the first week of the month.
We have high hopes for the December as we are lucky enough to be able to get involved in these gambles. Last December we made over 123 points to 1 point stakes or £12,300 to £100 Stakes as we hit gamble after gamble and landed a huge Trixie on one of the days. We are hoping for much the same this year of course we will need some luck as the margins between winning can be small. That been said we have done the same if not more legwork this year. We have more contacts than ever and we have watched tons of horses prepare for these December gambles. It certainly is a very popular choice for trainers to train horses to win in December and get a few quid in the bank before Christmas. It could well be a great month to get involved with us and start investing in your future.
I went to see that horse I mentioned last week but he still looks a little weak. I spoke in some length with the trainer and both agreed that on breeding the horse should be much better next year and may need his wind looking at. Jumps soundly but I wouldn’t be confident in him this year so I shall keep you posted if anything changes before spring.
HORSES IN FOCUS
FONTWELL 12:40 CASHANOVA is a little short at 2/1 we make the horse around 4/1 so simply can’t back it at those odds yet is probably the most likely winner.
1:10 LOUGH DERG ISLAND is one to be interested in here. 6/1 widely available is certainly one angle for value. Another is BOUND HILL 16/1 with Stan James which may feel a little crazy after the horse was soundly beaten by REMEMBER FOREVER last time but that was on heavy ground in a race BOUND HILL failed to settle and went off quite a bit too quick back from a break that time he should be sharper today. The stable were really upbeat before the race. Better ground today should suit and could well be worth chancing in first time blinkers.
SOUTHWELL 1:50 WAR SINGER could be well over priced at 20/1 or bigger on the exchanges. Useful on the flat in the past and his stable are in good form. If he showed his best today he would go close. Back from a break he has done plenty at home. They will know today where they are with him.
2:20 THE LYNCH MAN at 8/1 with Stan James at the time of writing is running well according to our speed ratings while the price is looking good too we make the horse 5/1 so value is well represented.
UTTOXETER 3:00 RETURN FLIGHT around 2/1 could still represent some value we make the horse an odds on shot and should win convincingly today it’s the days NAP!
Back Next Tuesday.
