No new video’s this week but a few people have been asking about trading these free bets out so I thought I’d touch on them again.
If you missed last weeks post showing how I traded out a free bet to secure a few quid profit you can watch that here – http://blog.betfan.com/betting-knowledge/this-is-the-easiest-way-to-make-a-guaranteed-profit/
I’ve also posted the video again today which you can see below –
So what’s the point I hear a few of you asking. The point is value! My favourite word I know! But it is how we make our profits.
The idea behind the method is that you are getting massive odds about something happening.
Take today for example. William Hill are offering money back if your horse comes second place in the 3.40 at Wolverhampton. Now by placing a bet through their mobile site you will qualify for this concession. Let’s assume that we’ll be trading on Duchess Of Gazeley. We back her at odds of let’s say 3/1 with Hills and then manage to lay her off on Betfair at the same price with the same stake. Here’s the maths –
Duchess Of Gazeley win the race. We return with a £25 stake £100 which see’s a profit of £75.
We lose £75 in our Betfair account which means we have broken even and lost nothing.
Duchess Of Gazeley comes second. We lose our £25 with William Hill’s but make £23.75p (after commission) so we’ve lost £1.25p. The same happens if Duchess Of Gazeley comes nowhere.
However if she comes second we get a free bet that once traded out is worth around £22.
Now our overall risk on the initial trade is £1.25 to make a £22 profit from the potential of a free bet. This overall means that we are getting nearly 17/1 for our selection to come second.
How many times do you get second place? It happens a lot and in the long run YOU can’t lose money doing this method as you have MASSIVE value on your side!
Go back through last week’s video’s and get your head around how it works and you’ll never be betting the same way again!
