The Perfect WINNING Week Ends 2013 Nicely.
Sunday 29th. My free tip UNIONISTE was going and jumping brilliantly, until he hit 3 out in the Lexus Chase and got rather crowded out on the turn, but my Welsh National charge HAWKES POINT, which I said I was backing ew at 14/1, so very nearly got up, only getting beaten an agonising head after just under a 4 mile slog. My member’s had another very nice winning day, as I e mailed them to back GALICIAN in the 1-10 at Lingfield and advised taking the 5/2. Nothing sinister about my free tip losing and my members bet winning, that’s just how it goes sometimes, but anybody wondering?? it’s in your own hands, sign up for a month or 2 and taste the wonderful success we are and have been enjoying this year for yourselves.
Yesterdays winner cemented our position at the top of the table and we are merrily approaching the 80 points profit mark for December.
That’s yesterday, today’s another challenge.
HAVINGOTASCOOBYDO is trading at 20/1 and I am informed that he is coming back to himself and is expected to run better than a 20/1 shot, so I think it’s worth a very small bet ew just in case.
The ex Sir Henry Cecil trained FAVOURITE GIRL who has now joined the Appleby stable and she had won previously nicely at Leicester and today although the slightly longer trip at Doncaster is just a concern, she is very well and at 3/1 is also a bet.
Finally the rather wayward flat performer RED FOUR has come into his jumping career on the back of a flat win. I am told that he has taken to jumping at home like the proverbial duck to water and at 14/1 he is a cracking ew bet. I manage to get some 16s on the machine and the rest at 14s and a bit at 12/1.
I am very happy that I have been moved to a Saturday, because I think I may tone down the bets on Sundays as it’s pretty much dire stuff and most Sundays I struggle to find something.
Sundays should be a day for family’s and going out not for studying crap form in rubbish races and if we haven’t made our money during the week and are dependant or relying on Sundays, we need to hang up our Racing posts and retire anyway.
SCOOBYDO gets our hearts racing for 3/4s of the race, but blows up, the old boy gave his all and over a shorter trip, I shall be getting my very small loss back.
I think the same applies to FAVOURITE GIRL she also needs dropping back to her Leicester winning trip again as she didn’t get home.
But, BOOM….. RED FOUR never gives up, although he was 500/1 in running, he picks up the clumsy jumping Fav and wins with a little in hand. A fantastic touch landed for all my clients at 14/1.
Wouldn’t that of been a feather in 1s cap, if I had of given that out as a 14/1 FREE Sunday tip.
But hey ho we will let the Grumbling Don make Sundays his own, which I am sure he can and will.
Anyway, we have had an amazing 6 winning days on the trot, wouldn’t it be lovely if we can win tomorrow and make it the perfect 7 winning day week and over Christmas as well, when anything extra is wonderfully accepted, especially if it’s courtesy of the Greedy 1s.
Monday 30th. A very nice Promo was send out via BETFAN towers last night, which I am very grateful of, so come on all you fence sitters, shake those moths out of the old coffers and get signing, if you don’t agree with my lifestyle and the way I go about things, there are plenty more good winning tipsters in BETFAN, have a browse.
The pressure is really on today, as I am desperate to hit the perfect 7 day winning run for all of you and I also notice we are nearing the 100 points profit mark for December. Wouldn’t it be great to finish the year top of the BETFAN Christmas tree for 2013 with over 100 points.
COME ON BELLIE BOY!!!!!!!!
BOBCATBILLY let us down last time when we backed him, but today, I am told not to worry about the softening ground as he will jump round and is fully expected to win. A nice and early e mail suggests that we back him also take the standout 2/1 with Corals.
3-15 at Lingfield ATTAIN although this 4yo gelding is a 20 race maiden, he ran one of his best races at Kempton last time and with cheekpieces reapplied today, once again he is expected to go very close. At 7/1 I think he is surely a bet to nothing ew and I also bet him ew as he could easily nick it from the front.
Happy days “Biggles Steve” has invited me up to Leicester in the new year, so I will see what mayhem I can cause up there in Dom Paddys. I bet Hayley will be glad to see me, NOT, as Steve grassed me up to her, as to why I call him Biggles. I will probably tie that trip in with the racing on Tues 7th, so if any of you are around please look or ask for me around the paddock. I am also going to Huntingdon on Thursday 2nd and Huntingdon on Fri 10th. I probably shall be at others in-between, but these are the ones I can guarantee at the moment.
I thought BOBCATBILLY ran a really gutsy race on probably a slightly unfavourable ground and ultimately won nicely at a very well backed 5/4, hehehe what a price we nicked from Mr Corals, 2/1.
Poor Shirley Bircett the 5lb claimer riding ATTAIN, I thought she rode a really good sensible race from a wide draw, grabbing the rail, kicking for home on the bend and just getting beaten on the line, by the rag of the field, who on all known form lines shouldn’t have. (never been placed). Gutted Grrrrrrr.
But another brilliant winning day is complete and the winnings and points are now safely tucked away for another day.
Tuesday 31st. Oi Oi the job and years a goodun, BELLIE BOYS done it for you all, WE have ALL done it, THE PERFECT 1 WEEK WINNING SPREE (over Christmas) IS ACHEIVED, we have surpassed the 100 points profit mark, we are top of the DECEMBER BETFAN Christmas tree, we are top of the 3 MONTH BETFAN tree and achieved 2nd in the 6 MONTH BETFAN tree, not bad for only 7 months working together and what a perfect way to end the year of 2013.
No bets today, lets not spoil anything and I think I have earned a day off and I am going out to get totally Oliver Twist.
HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL MY MEMBERS AND READERS.
Wednesday 1st. 2014 is here with a bang and oh boy what a night it was. I thought the London fireworks were absolutely amazing and it actually made me proud to be British. The party at Jafeica House went on far to late and I think the last to leave was Hilts at about 4am and the singing didn’t get any better and yes I am suffering like a bastard this morning. The Great Alfonze managed to find a bed and wow does he look rough this morning, his face is as red as the forbidden apple and his blood pressure must be 160 over 90, I hasten to add I am no oil painting either this morning.
The bubble and squeak has not helped in the slightest this morning and I am still in no mood to trundle up to Fakenham either today.
Biggles is on raving about RACING PULSE at Cheltenham today in what is most defiantly his stiffest test so far. Just a few of the Greedy 1s are showing 9/4, so I mail out for my clients to take this. Personally I am going to back him in running and lay the Favourite.
CEDRE BLEU is not the most genuine of animals, but he has ability in abundance and if he can be delivered as late as possible, I can’t see him being out of the 3 with the dead 8 runners and at 11/2 this is like stealing candy as a bet ew.
Finally and certainly not least, I am told that Mr Deer, the lucky owner of MODUS is going to Cheltenham to back his charge today. He is certainly no stranger to owning really good horses and we are told he has obtained another one here and at 7/1 I am backing this again, ew and I advise all my clients to do likewise.
With 2013 now finished and all the slates wiped clean, we need to start building our business together again and continue easing the cash out of the Greedy 1s. We have all got a nice tank and lots of ammo from our last years excursions, as we made in excess of 280 points clear profit in our 7 months together.
There’s no free rides in this game and if any of us takes anything for granted or our fingers off the pulse or get complacent we will soon get bitten firmly on the arse and very quickly fall from grace.
Racing Pulse goes off a very well backed 7/4 fav and flatters to deceive during the race but the atrocious conditions take its toll and he is finally beaten by the outsider of the field. I managed to lay the now 2nd favourite in running, so fortunately for me it’s a level outcome.
CEDRE BLEU whatever aids they manage to find and put on him will not make the old thinker any more genuine and he must be the most frustrating horse to train at home because he has loads of ability, but he does, as I said he would, nick us a little ew money, although they did try their old trick of pulling 1 out, so we only get 2 places.
Well done Mr Deer, how impressive was your MODUS, the answer is mightily and I would of thought all roads now lead to Cheltenham in March.
What a great price, a 7/1 winner to start our 2014 campaign and that now gives us an amazing 8 WINNING days on the trot.
I am slightly unsure about Huntingdon being on tomorrow as the weather here is horrendous and they have called a 7-30am inspection in the morning.
Thursday 2nd. 7-45am and Huntingdon has announced that the days racing is to go ahead, which is great as Mr Jolly is riding shotgun with me today.
I know we are on the crest of a wave or rather a Tsunami at the moment and the pressure is on to keep it rolling after 8 straight winning days. The Huntingdon card worries me a bit today, as I fear it could be bottomless ground and we will see an awful lot of very tired horses finishing and some big winning distances.
It seems relatively quiet today, but I get a sniff that after a long lay off the Lucinda Russell stable quietly fancies the chances of HAPPY RIVER and at 6/1 I advise a very small ew bet.
The form stands out on CAROLES DESTRIER in the 2-40 at Huntingdon after yesterdays Cheltenham AUBUSSEN winner had only beaten her by just over 3 lengths at Chepstow last time. She was 6/4 early doors, but this has all been hovered up, but we should all still happily take the 11/8 and 5/4 on offer, which I do via my little network, as I have her tissued up at Evens.
It’s a fantastic sunny day and for once the A14 isn’t very busy and it’s a pleasure travelling up to Huntingdon with Mr Jolly and listening to his old time stories.
One story, he reminds me of, is when we were travelling back from Fakenham races in mid winter and it was blowing a gale and pouring with rain. We stopped at The Ram Inn for a drink on the way home, which turned into 4 or 5 (late homework again). We were about 4 miles from home on a tiny C road, when we noticed a tree had fallen across the high banks blocking the road, with alcohol fuelled venom, Mr Jolly stuck his toe down and went straight under the tree to an almighty bang and scratch on the roof, a blood curdling scream from Kenny in the front and somehow we’ve made it through.
STOP, STOP NOW, Kenny screams and he was out of the car in a flash, only leaving the most awful smell inside (I will let you guess what had happened) refusing to get back in poor old Kenny walked (or squelched) the rest of his the way home.
Poor MIJHAAR in the first at Huntingdon, he is absolutely dead on his feet coming to the last and has an awful looking tired fall, personally I think it’s lights out time, but after a while he thankfully gets up and walks away apparently non the worse.
Just off the cuff, some really good news. Do you remember poor CAROBELLO from Fakenham that had a branch right through his muscle, I am informed that he is on the road to recovery and fully expected to race again.
When HAPPY RIVER evidently can’t win, he isn’t given a hard time after his long lay off and coasts home in his own time, there will be another day for us to regain our small loses.
I can see 6/4 on CAROLES and I save £50 for our drink and meal on the way home, just in case things go tits up and put every other penny I have on me on her, at what I think is a very generous price.
Thankfully, CAROLES DESTRIER is always well placed and moves up menacingly 3 out to take the lead and from then on it’s all over and she wins by 20ish unextended lengths.
A really nice cash draw, which is always special, to add to my winning account bets and the day is another goodun.
My shout tonight, so we decide to stop at the Chinese in Histon, Nr Cambridge, if any of you are from or in the area, I can whole heartedly recommend it as being one of the very best in the area and if you have the added bonus of a “friend” in tow, a holiday inn is situated just a mile down the road. I have Mr Jolly tonight, so I think we will battle our way home, don’t you heheheh.
The meal is as exquisite as ever, although Mr Jolly moans his prawns are cold and not cooked.(bless these 2 meat and veg oldies).
My members and I have all had another really fantastic winning day and that now racks up an amazing 9 on the bounce.
Friday 3rd. Right in the middle of our red hot winning streak and chasing the 10 winning days on the bounce master feat, we are ruthlessly cut down in our prime with a bout of crap racing.
Very unusual for a Friday, as it’s normally quite busy. Let the Greedy 1s hang on to their booty for just 1 more day, because I am certainly not going to start guessing or expecting any of you to back anything I am not prepared to back myself.
It’s our 2nd appearance tomorrow as the new Saturday BETFAN face, so as long as this atrocious weather allows, we will see what tomorrow brings.
As I said this morning in my clients e-mail, even with a day off, I am not going out with the boys as a detox is in order, don’t panic it will only be a matter of days not weeks.
Sandown’s card is already called off tomorrow and a lot of the jockeys are relocating to Wincanton, which I think is improbable, as when I called the clerk of the course today, he informed me that a lot of the racecourse is under water. Can you believe I am so boring today, I have no racing and I am sitting at home phoning clerk of the courses. This detox is in danger of only lasting a matter of hours not even days.
Saturday 4th. Wincanton has fallen by the wayside, so today we are left with small fields at Newcastle or attempting to be lucky enough to pick the winner in a 6 horse bunch finish at Lingfield, Mmmm not perfect for my FREE tip day.
Rather an uninspired free tip today, but John Wade won this race last year and his horse goes on what is going to be very heavy going, the only downside is that he fell last time when very tired, but it was his 1st run for 6 months.
2-50 Newcastle DINGO BAY – WIN Bet at 5/2 with various firms.
Big day today for all my merry members as we are chasing 10 winning days on the trot. I would like to welcome all my new signings this week and hope we have a long and prosperous time together.
Have a quick look and read on the BETFAN page below…
