The Don promised you Sundays would never be the same again and last Sunday we romped to victory in the Southern National at a lovely 5/1, I hope that made the first glass of Sunday afternoon vino a little more pleasant. We had a great day down at Plumpton made much more fun by returning to Newmarket with pockets bursting with cash.
Hope you all enjoyed it I’m intending for there to be plenty more Sunday crackers like that to relieve the old enemy of the folding stuff. Is there a better feeling in life? Well possibly but it’s right up there.
This month has apart from last Sunday been one of great frustration for the Don and his private service members with 9 yes 9 seconds and 3 fallers in 15 bets. If the Don wasn’t a confirmed atheist he would be on his knees asking Why me but instead my members have been with me long enough to know I’m just about the best at what I do so they and BetFan leave me to turn it round and knee the bad luck where it hurts. After 9 seconds and 3 fallers you can’t feel out of form but I told the guys in Saturday’s message we were going to have a very big Saturday and January was about to start turning our way.
The reason for my confidence where many a tipster would be reaching for the Gamcare hotline was I had been privvy to some info from my contact at the Paul Nicholls yard that I was able to relay at 8am yesterday morning that Saphir du Rhu was expected to win the Lanzarote Hurdle and was far better than a handicapper. The horse had been producing some startling work at home and when this happens at this yard you take notice. My members were told to back the horse to win not mess around each way and he duly romped home despite many pundits saying the yard wasn’t firing and he had gone up too much in the weights.
I travelled up to Warwick where our second bomb was detonated as Deputy Dan won the big hurdle, we got on at 7/2 he romped home at 5/2, this is a very nice novice and The Don has been aware of him for some time now. 38.5 points of well earned profit on the day putting us 18 up on the month despite the horrendous and quite frankly bizarre run of luck/results this month. When the going gets tough the tough get punting and neither myself or the people who have been with me over a year and 600 points of profit were ever going to back off. So in 2014 if you want to mess about and think every bet has to win or the tipster is clueless then to be honest I can’t be bothered having you as a member but if you want to play the long game and make big money by doing every bet I do to the stake I do then we can do business together. I answer any honest query from members and even some strange ones, so join us and lets get to work.
Kelsos off today so we go to the all weather at Wolverhampton for the Dons Sunday cracker and it’s in the opening race the 1.30. We are having a win bet on Parisian Pyramid, take the 2/1 with Ladbrokes this is a banker for me.
Have a great Sunday and more than ever please remember always Trust in the Don.
Back next Sunday.
