A busy Saturday for my members with four extra strong bets. It really is frustrating for everyone with so much of the quality racing wedged together on a Saturday. There are five minutes between races at Newmarket and Chepstow which is ludicrous they should be spaced out so fans can relax and enjoy both great cards instead of hurrying to get bets on. We’ve had such dross to watch all week then this glut of quality with a good card at York thrown in too.
Myself and Penny are taking the short journey to Newmarket for what looks a stunning card so it will be skyplus for the Chepstow races because I want to fully concentrate on the action at HQ. The atmosphere will be electric today with the Dewhurst, the Middle Park and the Ces with its 30 plus runners all providing a fantastic spectacle. The Cesarewitch looks a real puzzle and with the usual twenty tips doing the rounds it’s a race I’m leaving well alone today.
The Gambling Don free bet runs in a slightly less competitive race than the Ces but it’s a tough one all the same however that is getting us a very tasty price indeed.
The race is the 4.40 Newmarket Autumn Stakes for two year olds which is a long trip for these young horses and the uphill finish will find many of them out.
The horse that TGD has a strong word for is the Charlie Hills trained Glenard who is currently a whopping 20/1 with Stanjames. This horse has only run once and this was his win in a strong looking maiden at Doncaster. He still looked weak that day and showed courage to come through, he will need that today up this stiff track. I understand he has come on a ton since then and the run did him the World of good. I think he has a huge chance of causing an upset here and I look forward to cheering him home from the members stand.
Have a great days racing this Saturday and join me to take care of all your tipping right through this Winter as I have the best jumping contacts in the business.
Back next Saturday.
