Well last Saturday was fun wasn’t it and judging by the response profitable for many of you as Nadiya del Vega romped in at 10/1. Thats 16/1, 12/1 and two 10/1 shots that have gone in for free for you in our Betfan Saturday Newsletter.
This is the top tipping column out there and many of you have used the winnings to join my full service which is riding high in the BetFan top ten. You get every bet I do every day and more importantly I tell you when not to bet. The Jumps season is getting in to full swing now and so is my full service.
We however will stay on the flat for today’s Saturday Special and we go to Doncaster for the Group 1 Racing Post Trophy. This race is always targeted by Aiden O’Brian and last year who can forget Camelot
who made the rest of the field look like they were statues. This means that anything he turned up with this year was going to start very short. Kingsbarns is his representative this week and he has been smashed in to 2/1 fave now clearly O’Brian likes the horse but he has only won a Maiden against poor horses and whatever occurs today I think we have to take him on.
Trading Leather and Steeler will have their supporters and are good horses but we need to be on the Richard Hannon trained Van De Neer.
This horse has had two runs and won them both but because they have been at Yarmouth and Leicester he has been overlooked and we can get 6/1 with Totesport. Never mind the location lets look at the
form and if we do we see that he has beaten good horses and beaten them easily. He is bred by sprinters but when he ran at Leicester it was over seven furlongs on bad ground and he wasn’t stopping. The feeling around the Hannon Camp is that the horse will stay and at 6/1 we can take the chance that he will. Back him to win and lets hope our great run continues.
Have a great weekend and I’ll see you next Saturday for another TGD Saturday Special.
Back next Saturday.
