The ratings suggested at the half way stage at Wentworth that previous Champion Simon Khan was in prime position to make a weekend charge so we placed bets at 45/1 on Saturday morning. The result was another crossbar smack for us as Khan lost in a playoff after going in the water on the fourth extra hole.
The ratings gave him as a 20/1 chance on Saturday morning so if you want to back 20/1 chances at 45/1 then you need to join us because a play off or tight finish will be dropping our way very soon.
This week we have The Memorial Tournament in America on one of the great American courses Muirfield Village. The Tiger is on the prowl this week and as I predicted several weeks ago the Bookmakers have taken remedial action after being relieved of plenty of cash this week and Woods is a best priced 9/4!
Many of you will feel that given his win at the Players he is a good bet to follow up but he has come down from 11/1 there and was frequently 7/1 and 8/1 earlier this season. 9/4 is very short in a field of 150 so it’s decision time. I have a maximum each way bet in this Tournament at a good price plus two big priced selections that I will be recommending to my members.
This Jack Nicklaus design is not that difficult off the tee but where we will see some fun and games is around the greens which are undulating and very quick. If your short game isn’t working then you will have a quick week as you will be at home on Saturday morning.
Join us and be on big priced gambles each and every week, I look forward to seeing you on the fairways this week and every week.
Back Next Tuesday.
