Henrik Stenson did the business in style last night at The Deutschebank as third round leader Sergio Garcia bottled it big style.
Yesterday morning Golf Bet Profits subscribers were told to oppose Garcia and get stuck into Stenson at 3/1 as my unique ratings suggested Stenson should be fave not Sergio. The power of the ratings was shown yet again as Sergio went out like a light and Stenson held his nerve to win by two shots.
Stenson had fallen out of the top 200 in the World this time last year and been scammed in some investments leaving him out of form and skint. It’s testimony to his strength of character that he is now the hottest golfer on the planet with a big win and a string of placings in this years Majors.
The American Tour takes a break and we focus on the much weaker European Tour this week at the stunning Crans Sur Sierre golf club in Switzerland for the Omega European Masters. The field lacks any star names but the course itself is worth tuning in for. Set in the Swiss Mountains it really is beautiful and it’s a tricky old course too. Redesigned by the late great Seve it puts a premium on accuracy and with the ball flying further at altitude the big hitters have littler advantage. Since last year when Richie Ramsey won the course has had two million quid spent toughening it up further so this week expect plenty of players to struggle.
We have three strong selections this week so if your not already involved join us, we operate the most comprehensive golf betting service on the market. I look forward to seeing you on the fairways.
Back next Tuesday.
