It may be December but the Golf World is in for another great week of action with two cracking Tournaments to get our punting teeth stuck into.
In South Africa there is the Nedbank Challenge at Sun City there version of Vegas. Great place if ever you get the chance to go and home to two stunning Gary Player designed courses.
Golfs very own King of the jungle Henrik Stenson heads the field and looks to continue his irresistible form. It’s a brave man who would bet against him at the moment and his long straight driving will be perfect for this course. This course takes a lot of knowing particularly the undulating greens and he may see his biggest challenge come from veterans of the event like Els and Garcia.
Over in America it’s Tiger hosting his own Tournament in California and not surprisingly given his record in the event the Bookmakers are taking no chances with him and he starts a 5/2 favourite. Rory Mcilroy fresh from overhauling Adam Scott to win in Australia last weekend will fancy giving the great man all the trouble he can handle and Rory has shown in the past when he is confident he can really go on a roll.
Other recent winners like Dustin Johnson and Webb Simpson will ensure Woods doesn’t just turn up and play a ceremonial four rounds before picking up his winners cheque.
