Thursday sees the season ending jamboree in Dubai for the World Championship event.
It’s fitting that a Tournament with such a lofty name (only problem no American players there) should be staged at such an amazing course as the Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf complex.
Designed by Greg Norman this is one mighty fine and mighty tough Golf Course. It tests every facet of the player’s game requiring you to be long off the tee but demanding accuracy. We then come to the greens which are bigger than some small villages and are undulating with huge run off areas. This is always won by a great player because it’s so tough you can’t fluke this one.
Well last week I warned of backing Rory at a short price and he looked less than keen he will surely be motivated this week with the money and prestige on offer. The challengers are many with a resurgent Poulter coming here full of confidence. This course may be a little too long for Luke Donald but he will love the greens.
I can’t stress what a spectacle this week will be so tune in as it will have extensive coverage on Sky and will be a great way to finish off the European season. We will be having four strong bets this week and I’m very confident we can continue the form that has seen us accumulate vast profits this season. I look forward to seeing you on the fairways.
Back next Tuesday.
