Power Naps mega October continues and as I write we top the 50 points for the month and as the season moves more and more into gear so we will aim to step up on the profits.
A quick update on how the season is going in general well Paul Nicholls seems to have his horses far further forward than usual and he has certainly been banging in the winners first time out so give his runners your best attention. By contrast Philip Hobbs who usually flourishes at this time of year is struggling with plenty of beaten faves and horses beaten a long way from home.
Stable form particularly with the big yards is a vital component of your punting armoury. A stable such as the Hobbs yard currently may not have anything wrong like a virus sweeping the yard it may be tactical that the Trainer and his team have decided to take things slower and build the horses up slower so they are ready nearer Christmas for the bigger prize money.
Nicky Henderson by contrast who is odds on to be Champion Trainer has had only a handful of runners in the last few weeks so is taking it very slowly. He will have some runners at the weekend and then we can start to judge how forward his string are. So as it stands in the early sparring it’s first blood to Paul Nicholls and knowing how competitive he is it may well be the plan was to hit the ground running and give Henderson something to think about.
You can rest assured Power Naps takes trainer form into consideration and my members will be on the right yards at the right time as we continue to bank the profits, why not be part of it, it’s going to be a great season.
Back next Thursday.
