Last weekend we went against the crowd at Punching 4 Profits as we took Dereck chisora to get the better of unbeaten American Malik Scott in London.
(“I’m going to go against most peoples predictions for this fight by taking Chisora to do a number on this guy on Saturday night” )
And that’s just what we got as Chisora stopped his man in the sixth round to land us a second winning weekend.
Other action that night saw Billy Joe Saunders prove he has the 12 round stamina as he out-pointed Gary O’Sullivan by the widest of margins, 120-109, 120-109, 119-110 as he dominated from start to finish in the capital.
This fight was mentioned in our weekend P4P betting email, but without being able to settle on the method of victory.
Billy Joe Saunders was always going to win this fight in my opinion, and in doing so, was the first man to beat Ireland’s Gary O’Sullivan.
Looking ahead to this weekend, there is no action in the UK after some great stuff over the last five weekends.
Over in San Antonio, America.
We do have action as Andre Berto faces Jesus Soto Karass over 12 rounds in the Welterweight division
and unbeaten fighters Diego Chaves and Keith Thurman do battle over the same championship distance and weight.
In other boxing news we have finally found out Kell Brooks next opponent as it was revealed
he will take on former WBA welterweight champion Vyashaslev Senchenko on Saturday 26th October in Sheffield.
Some of you might remember the name Vyashaslev Senchenko as this is the man who stopped Ricky Hatton’s comeback last November with a ninth round knock-out.
Another big announcement over the last week was that of Olympic Gold medallist Anthony Joshua crossing over to the pro ranks with his debut set for the 5th October at the O2 Arena in London.
Until next Saturday.
All The Best
