At Stable Line Gold we had a solid profitable Goodwood and then a big win on Sunday so we really are heading into the late flat season in good form. The key is quality info from the right people which is a lot harder to come by than you may think.
This game is full of “A bloke said in a pub his mate has been told they like this horse” that’s opinion and gossip that’s not inside information. By its very nature genuine inside information is tricky to come by as gambles can be foiled or prices can disappear quicker than Eddie the Stat when it’s his round.
We also have the increasing problem of false info and early morning stitch ups to manipulate the market, since our friends at betdaq and betfair have joined the party this has become much more of an issue. If you can get the word out early that your horse is badly out of form and get that price drifting the lemmings will join in as they always do and you can have no end of fun in the five minutes before a race.
The key for me on behalf of Stable Line members is to filter the correct stuff and ignore the rest. It’s not an exact science but you do start to understand how it’s done.
And so today well there’s plenty of racing but it’s mostly terrible but I can share with you a good bet and it runs at Haddock this afternoon in the 4.40. The horse we need to be on is the Derek Shaw trained Borough Boy available at 100/30 with betvictor. Borough Boy ran a good race to be beaten a length at Warwick in what looked a better race than this. The feeling is that has brought him fully to the boil and with Franny Norton booked there is a lot of confidence behind this horse today.
Join me at Stable Line Gold and be part of exciting insider gambles, get on early in the morning and get the value!
Back next Thursday.
