Good morning from a crisp Autumnal BetFan Towers, with three jumps meetings today it feels like a change of the seasons in more ways than one and here at HQ we are ready for our biggest jumps season ever.
We have of course plenty of end of season Flat titles to be won and big races to be awarded starting with the small matter of the Arc de Triomphe. I hope Eddie the Satnav my colleague sets off in good time given his record of getting lost he has more chance of finding Noah’s Arc. Is it any wonder his headmaster said he lacked direction in his leaving report.
A real shame that many of the big hitters are missing the race but all of us at Betfan Towers were intrigued to see that Aiden O’Brian had supplemented the Yorkshire Oaks heroine Tapestry at a whopping hundred thousand euros. However minted the Ballydoyle mob are that is some pot of cash which tells me they like her chances. That 16/1 could disappear quicker than the Gambling Dons credit card if Penny sees there is a sale on in the George menswear range at Asda.
But enough of the sartorially challenged Don let’s look at today’s Jumps action at Warwick, a tight speed track think the Chester of the jumps. David Pipe runs Bathwick man in the 3.45 and this recent winner is at the top of his game and can win again. His running style suits this place and 5/2 with Bet365 is a rare act of generosity. Pipey sticks a talented claimed on to negate the weight rise from his recent win and that should be enough.
Stable Line Gold had an excellent September and armed with some new jumps contacts we are going to smash it this jumps. Be with me don’t wait to hear about it from me.
Back next week and as I’m doing sober October for two wonderful charities you can guarantee I will be here in good humour and laughter………. not.
There’s a lot of Churchill quotes at the moment so I will have a go…
Have a look at their latest offer for two years no claims. Oh yes…..
