Stableline Gold sits at the top of the BetFan Charts after a cracking start to the month. We also cleaned up at Epsom for those who joined us for the two day special including slamming into the Derby winner. A good and profitable time was had by all and it was nice to give you all a flavour of what the service can do.
Derby fave Dawn Approach bombed out after pulling like mad, there have been many theories but the fact is this was highly predictable as to put it bluntly the horse runs too fast at the pace they go at a mile and a half. It was bought by Sheik Mo to run in the Derby and that is what was going to happen no matter what. He has that much money he won’t care what happens now because the races it will run in over a mile he has won many times before. He is obsessed with the Godolphin Blue coming home first and beating his rivals from Coolmore. They must have chuckled all the way home as their horses all beat poor old Dawn Approach (watch out for Mars next time this was far from Richard hughes finest hour) limped across the line.
Aiden O’Brian has plenty of Derbys now and though this was hardly a classic renewal but it will still be hugely satisfying and it will be interesting to see what he does with Ruler of the World, the Arc will be his long term target. Great to see a small yard finish second with Libertarian although odd that Karl Burke who was banned giving interviews after as though he was really the trainer. That can’t be right can it because his wife is down in the racing post as the trainer surely if a trainer gets banned they can’t just put everything in the wifes name and then carry on can they???? Anyway who ever trains it the leger beckons by then the kids might be interviewed after or the grandparents, give everyone a go!
Ascot is round the corner this is the best time of year to get involved because I intend to give the Bookmakers a torrid time over the next few months, I do hope you can join me!
Back next Thursday.
