The World Cup cricket is under way and what a superb result by the Irish boys beating the West Indies and Scotland nearly pulled off a shock against New Zealand. The big disappointment was England who were totally outplayed by the Aussies. It’s a difficult tournament to call but joint Hosts Australia look pretty hot on current form.
I see the weights have just been released for this years Grand National and at first glance I feel that the Druids Nephew might have a shout. He will certainly have history on his side as the very same colours of his syndicate were carried to victory in 1909.
I have been in discussions with Betfan this week and the 80/20 place and win system I have been banging on about will be offered to all Betfan readers as a free one month trial shortly. So keep looking out for further info regarding this new service.
All I will tell you at this stage is it has so many advantages over the old fashioned ways of betting and staking and it’s a no brainer if you are looking for consistent and regular profits. Also believe me I don’t offer a whole months FREE trial if I’m not certain of making profits so keep em peeled.
Well Howies Hotties have been right out of form recently however the eyecatchers are still hitting the target last week with topical tip Opening Batsman at Wincanton. Also I did put up a winner for you all on Betfan’s Facebook page courtesy of Norah Mac greyhounds when Droopys Rives romped in at Hove on Sunday. It’s a case of looking out for these freebies as we can’t post out emails all the time.
With regards my tip today I’m off to Ludlow in the 4.15 for a 2 mile handicap hurdle. The Alan King Ronaldinho looks on a decent mark and back over a shorter trip than his previous run.
He was withdrawn from a race at Taunton yesterday but this does look an easier opportunity so lets hope he shows up and gives us a good run for our money.
EYECATCHERS
ARTIFICIAL SURFACES
Tattling trainer C.Dwyer – Nice winner at Chelmsford and for Betting Opportunity clients. This needs upgrading as it’s very difficult to come from behind at the Essex track and he did it the hard way.
Sovereign Debt trainer D.Nicholls – A good 2nd after a long lay off at Lingfield. He should improve for the run for new connections. Also I have a soft spot for him as his mother was Kelsey Rose a mare I once owned.
Trader Jack trainer D.Flood – Pulled like a lunatic at Kempton and just ran out of petrol. The gelding is very hard to win with however I can see there is ability and he could pop up at a massive price sooner or later.
Duke Street trainer M.Johnston – Led the field at Wolverhampton yesterday until fading perhaps a shorter trip or maybe the race came to soon for him.
JUMPERS
Prouts Pub trainer J.Gifford – Led over the last hurdle and ran out of steam so back to 2 miles could be the answer.
Ultimate trainer B.Ellison – Another who likes to set the pace and was found wanting in the closing stages last time out. He is on a good rating and if getting an easy lead could be hard to peg back next time.
Back next Wednesday have a good week and be lucky.
