HOT HANDICAPPERS

August 24, 2016 By admin Leave a Comment

The Olympics are now but a distant memory however a massive well done to team G.B. for a superb medal tally even if I was rather negative before the games started.

The whole team gave it 100% and one thing I did notice was watching the Girls hockey team singing our national anthem with such passion and when I compared that to the way our footballers mumble it’s the difference between chalk and cheese.

Mo Farah’s performances were nothing short of brilliant which put the icing on the cake. In actual fact Mo is a fanatical Gooner and Mr Wenger could do a lot worse than play him up front with Walcott so we can see how fast he really is.

Joking apart I see Sam Allardyce is in danger of becoming another idiot England manager by asking John Terry if he wants to play international football again. Lets face it by the time the next World cup takes place Terry will be old enough for a bus pass.

However it gets worse as he has no intention of picking Marcus Rashford as he isn’t in the Man Utd team. Well we knew Mourinho wouldn’t play the youngster but you have to say it will have nothing but a negative effect on our national team as Rashford is one of the best talents I have seen since Paul Gascoigne.

After the wonderful Ebor Meeting this weeks midweek racing is rather mundane so for Howies Hottie I’m off to Ireland to see if we can find another winner. The tip is Mica Mika in the 7.00 Bellewstown a 12 furlong handicap. The gelding is sent over by Richard Fahey from his Yorkshire base and despite top weight he should be in the mix.

HOT HANDICAPPERS

FLAT

Sirius Prospect trainer D.Ivory – Seems to be running into form on a workable mark.

Jimemez trainer B.Meehan – I think a mile is his trip and is capable of winning off his rating.

Rydan trainer G.Moore – The yard are flying and this one is very well handicapped.

First Mohican trainer A.King – The old boy has been around for some years but still has stacks of talent and has dropped to a decent mark.

Back next Wednesday be lucky.

Howard Davis-Shaw.
