Football Money Maker Method 3

October 19, 2018 By reviewer Leave a Comment

It is over 4 years since I first looked at a strategy from Chris and it is fair to say they have all done what they claimed and as the series has progressed they have become more and more simple to operate. The latest continues that theme and is a straightforward back betting system operating in the football goals markets. There is no trading required to see the system profitable but those who have to watch matches involving their bets may be able to cash out if it looks as though the initial bet will fail and thus reduce any losses.

A quick word on Chris’ refund policy – there is no refund available once you have purchased as the information is in your knowledge from that point. This is made clear on the marketing page so if you are not prepared to risk £42 then do not buy.

As ever there is a comprehensive video covering the theory behind the strategy and how it should be applied and absolutely no prior knowledge is assumed so you could use this even if you do not have a clue what football might be.  Using a free football prediction website the strategy looks for opportunities where goals are likely to be scarce and by then checking further stats bets may be identified in the Over/Under 2.5 or 3.5 markets.

I would stress here that users are likely to adopt varying attitudes to the information and so may make more or less bets than me. With use a follower becomes well versed in the potential and whilst there can never be a sure thing in any sporting event you should be able to limit your risk to personally acceptable levels. Because of my experience using Chris’ systems I can get up and running quickly – new users may wish to paper trade for a while to see how they read the information. If you do have any questions Chris will always respond to emails offering appropriate advice.

Another good news feature of FMMM3 is that the odds for bets are much higher than other systems. The minimum suggested is 1.20 and if you are brave you might get some bets at near to evens. Personally I have adopted an approach that takes the lower risk bet so long as the odds are 1.20 which in practice means the Under/Over 3.5 goals market.

We are 2 months in to the review and I have found 162 bets – as explained the number will vary by user. Of these 25% have been in the higher odds range and overall 141 (87%) successful. Staking 1 point from a 20 point bank a profit of 28.6 points has been seen at an ROI of 17.62%. An excellent return for relatively low risk football betting. This is a capital profit of over 140% so you could safely withdraw your starting bank and play with the winnings alone.

It took 3 bets at £25 stakes to cover the subscription cost and the betting bank has not seen any draw down in the trial. Certainly good value for money offering a long term strategy for users with minimal risk.

Dark Horses

April 12, 2018 By reviewer Leave a Comment

Its that time of year again. The flat racing season is about to start and a plethora of new services and guides will be hitting your in tray over the next few weeks. And here we take an initial look at one of them which has been put together by John Burke for The Race Advisor.

If you watch the video on the marketing page there is no need to read it as well as it merely repeats the same text. We have words such as “sensational” “huge wins” “going to smash it” and “astonishing” which might lead you to conclude that there is no firm data on which to base the claims. Of course there cannot really be much because of the nature of the flat racing scene so what is on offer is an assessment of the potential of a number of  4 categories of horses which should be racing this season. An aide to support your personal form reading or system picks although it does assert that use of the guide will allow you to “tap into profits no matter who you are”.  There seems to have been a late change to the number of horses covered as both the marketing and guide itself refer to 20 horses at some point despite the headline 25 quoted – the final figure is 21 though.

At just under £10 (plus VAT where applicable) it is hardly a great outlay and so the chance to find out the views of other punters is beckoning. On paying your fee you will immediately be given access to a 23 page PDF document which can be saved on your device and accessed when convenient. As well as covering the specific horses there are sections on Jockeys and Trainers plus some micro angles on them. (A bonus guide to the forthcoming Craven meeting is included in the price but we have not seen this at the time of writing)

After a general introduction the author explains that he is trying to find both expected and unexposed horses that can do well in certain circumstances and also comments on a few of the older handicappers prospects. There is also advice on placing bets which are recommended as wins where the odds are 6/1 or less and consideration should be given to each way staking above that level. It is recommended that you should not stake at more than 1% of your bankroll for any selection made using the guide.

The specific horses advice is split into sections – classic contenders (6), 3 year olds under the radar (5), 3 year old maidens(5) and the older horses (5).  Each horse is examined in detail and specific advice given on when to back them – an example of this follows:

ADVICE: Soft ground is not ideal for this runner, and he should only be considered on good-soft or
firmer. Seven furlongs also proved to be a bit short, so watch out for his entry into a race where the
ground is firmer and the distance is one mile and he’ll be the one to beat.

The assessments are well written and interesting to read. I would have thought that it would be suggested that the subjects be placed in your trackers so that you can receive notification when they are running rather than have to check yourselves.

We then move on to some micro systems covering 3 jockeys and 2 trainers which are simply set out and easy to follow. If the historic performance continues then there will be useful profits available.

And finally further jockey and trainer analysis advising of tracks and specific distances where the subject has returned at least a 10% ROI betting at industry SP.

The guide is well put together and will appeal to a range of punters. I am not sure it will make you a fortune on its own but as a back up to your personal research/system it could well be giving you that bit of confidence you need.

With the nominal cost involved I am happy to give the guide a positive rating and will be interested to hear members thoughts on the doubtless wide variety of angles that will be considered.

Advantage Play Secrets

March 24, 2018 By reviewer Leave a Comment

Another offering from the well respected Mike Cruikshank which on first reading looks like another winner. It is well worth reading the marketing page fully to understand where the product comes from, the main strategy being long established but little used and which offers a very low risk method for profiting from horse racing using Best Odds Guaranteed bookmakers. There are 3 more strategies which are intended to be used after mastering the first and a bonus staking plan offering advice on how to generate profits and be able to withdraw some regularly.

On signing up you receive a welcome email and details of how to access the members area of the site. Once there you will find a set of video training covering all aspects of the strategies and showing live examples of them working. As with all Mike’s products the explanations are simple and make it clear what needs to be done. There is an assumption that you know how to place a bet with online bookmakers but after that all is covered including tips on how to avoid upsetting the bookes and so losing the ability to use the system!

As well as the demonstrations you receive access to the software which identifies potential opportunities and allows you to record any bets placed and their outcome. It is very intuitive to use and after perhaps a day of paper trading to make sure you have understood the initial strategy – The Golden Parachute – you should be able to get going live.

An initial bank of £100 with risk of up to £3 per selection should allow you to generate the profit levels seen in testing at around £500 per month.

Because the initial offer price is ending soon I have posted this initial review before full testing but Mike’s reputation is such that I am confident in doing this. The initial cost of £1 for 14 days will be more than enough to allow to to make your own assessment of the product. I will of course post my results when I have been able to use the software in practice.

Golden Parachute Review 6 June 2018:

After a little over 2 months of testing the initial strategy it is looking very positive indeed. In practice there are some considerations that will affect your use of the product but these do not detract from the main objective and potential profits for users.

Using Golden Parachute is simple  – you open the software on your device and it will run in real time updating as the bookmakers change their prices.

Golden Parachute Selection Display

Each race can be sorted to the filter required by clicking on the heading. I order by the over-round as this is the main criterion to consider and then check the number of runners. The recommendation is that a maximum over-round of 103% is used and 6 runner or less races. Clearly there may or may not be any possible selections available at any given time.

If a race is of interest then click on the “calculator” link and a screen such as this will open in a fresh window thus ensuring you can keep an eye on the main events easily.

Possible Race

The display now shows the individual runners, their current odds and the Stake that should be placed on each. The Oddschecker link allows ready checking that the price is available and quick placing of the bets. Often the opportunity to back at a potential profit does not last long. It is possible to just save the race using the simulation mode if you want to check how things would pan out in practice. Either way you save the event once the bets are placed and come back when the result is known. (It will be noted that the potential loss here was up to £6 for £100 staked – I had seen alternative tips on the race and as the profits already achieved were high decided the risk was worth taking)

Race Result

As expected the favourite won and so the return was £104 giving a 2% profit. By entering the winner in the appropriate box the data is automatically updated. If the price had drifted and thus given a higher return because of Best Odds Guaranteed the line highlighted would show the extra profit earned. This is where the real profit potential lies for the strategy.

A look at my summary results on the proofing will show that as time has gone on I have become rather more selective on races used but also taken some races above the 6 runner max suggested. This is where the over-round was so attractive that it seems churlish to miss out on a guaranteed profit but serves to highlight the flexibility that users can apply to their application of this strategy.

I am in the position that I can check on the situation frequently through the racing day and thus possibly see more opportunities. There does not seem to be a hard and fast time when possible selections might occur so if you cannot make regular checks on the software this may not be suitable. The initial low cost trial will allow you to check this easily.

The betting bank advised is 100 points which should allow profitable use of the strategy. However, because you are placing bets with multiple bookmakers there are going to be timing issues with funds transfer around as winnings are made and the other losses need to be re-stocked. I would suggest that even though you are basing the betting on a 100 point bank it would be more practical to have £500 at your disposal otherwise you may be limited on the number of bets you can place. As profits grow this will become easier to manage.

And so to the results so far. I have usually stopped at 3 selections per day which is by no means necessary if you have the funds available for more betting. But even at this relatively low activity rate I have managed to make all but 600 points profit so far with minimal risk on any bet. I now ignore possibles where the initial assessment shows losses on the top 4 runners and if this means a blank day so be it. The ROI is relatively low at around 4% but this reflects the low risk factor.

Bookies should not be too upset at your activities as you will be losing a majority of bets and the winnings individually are not large sums. But it would be wise to keep tabs on where you do win and make adjustments in your betting if you think necessary – the drop down on the horse name in the selection area shows other books available to help with this.

I have checked with Mike today and the initial £1 offer for 14 days remains available – the full annual sub at £99 is a snip at the profit levels we have demonstrated so if you have the time to make use of the strategy I would suggest you give it a try.

Update 1/10/2018: Although I have become rather more selective in the races I look at the profitability has remained here with 1644 points generated overall at an ROI of 6.90%. With the minimal risk involved this has to be a worthwhile service so long as you have the time to keep checking through the day. I have bent the guidelines slightly and other users will probably feel able to do the same once they are familiar with the basic process – for example if the over round is 90 or below I will accept races with more than 6 runners as the reward is going to be at least 10 points before you need to consider the possibility of BOG uplifts. I also now  discount races where the favourite would return a loss even if it is just 1 point. This reflects the time I have available to monitor things and the point is that a wide range of options are potentially available here.

The price remains a bargain  and given my experience plus the initial refund guarantee available there is every reason to give this a proper test with minimal risk to users.

Good Bet – Horse Racing Edition

February 22, 2018 By reviewer Leave a Comment

An interesting product from the Betting Dev group who offer a range of products aimed at automating betting processes including an excellent Virtual Private Server. Here we have a software program which provides a base system allowing users to develop their personal form reading in a logical manner and a supplementary subscription offering which automatically loads the UK and Irish racing data into the software saving a considerable amount of time.

The software is stand alone and does not depend on feeds from any third party. It is aimed at horse racing bettors of all types from beginner to expert and will help users in any country where racing takes place. Please note that the software only operates on Windows based devices (but can be used with other systems if a VPS is available).

MANUAL ENTRY MODE

This is the basic package attracting a one off fee which will cover future upgrades as they occur. On payment a software program is installed on your device and a PDF manual is also included giving full instructions for both installation and operation of the software.

Analysis of form has been broken down into 16 or 17 elements depending on the type of race and a detailed explanation of the individual criteria is given in the manual. To analyse a race you simply add a “Yes” tick for each horse across the elements and the score is automatically calculated. You can do this for as many horses in the race as you wish and at the end you will have an assessment of the comparative scores for your selections. Further guidance is then given as to the type of bet you might (and equally importantly might NOT!) consider based on the scores achieved. There are slightly varying formats for Flat, Jumps and Harness (Trap) racing.

The entry of the data can be undertaken by reference to several free websites such as Racing Post or Sporting Life and I found the simplest – and quickest – to use was At The Races. After some practice I could enter a single horse’s characteristics in under 2 minutes.

It will be obvious that you are developing both a personal database as you use the software (the analyses may be saved to csv files) and a consistent assessment criteria for looking at races. How you make use of the output is down to you but again there are options ranging from assessing the potential of a tipsters selections through establishing bets you might place on selected races to the development of your own systems. For obvious reasons I cannot divulge the factors leading to scores being allocated but what I did like was the ability to fine tune these based on your own knowledge – if a fact was the horse not having raced more that x times in a given period but you considered that a different number was more valid you could readily factor this into your use of the software.

In my testing I experimented by assessing a tipster who provided 3 selections daily and checked what the outcome would have been if I placed bets based on the Good Horse bet scores rather than just blind. The software did show a marginal improvement on the raw tips so the time would have been well spent.

Unless you are only following racing in the UK and Ireland the manual entry mode is going to be necessary for using the methodology. However, if you want to save time and are looking at the UK and Ireland races then you should certainly consider the Automatic Mode but only once you have understood how it all works via the manual entry option.

At £49.95 the program is priced in the mid range and is certainly a substantive offering with a great deal of thought behind the finished article. There is no trial available as once you have the manual you could continue to use the method without the software.

AUTOMATIC MODE

A useful video overview for this monthly subscription service can be found on the marketing page. The subscription package is only available once you have acquired the basic manual entry program but there is no ongoing commitment

Instead of having to check the criteria against public information users of this upgrade will be able to download the full daily race cards for all UK and Irish races with the scores already detailed. So in my test example above it took less than 30 seconds to check the tips against the data for each race and unlike the manual version I could see how the selections matched up against other horses in the race with no additional work. In say an 8 horse race it would have taken me around 10 minutes to achieve this analysis manually.

As with the manual version the output is exportable and I have recorded the tipster outcomes by consolidating the output in an Excel spreadsheet. It is also possible to export to Word or PDF if you prefer. You may then use the data for further analysis as you see fit.

The daily data is available by 10am on the day of racing – often earlier but the timing is not fixed. All that needs to be done is to open the program and an alert will tell you the update is ready. A minute later and you are ready to make your personal analysis of the days racing.

But the story does not end there – acting on the suggestions of subscribers there have been several upgrades to the output and for each race you can also see the At The Races data for Forecast Price and Pace as well as Class and Distance variations. A further enhancement is the indication of the horse’s Dobbing potential (a type of bet where it is anticipated the price will half in running and allow a profit at the equivalent of evens). All potentially useful for those developing their own strategies – to have your info on a single display and thus eliminate the need to become distracted by the process is a great advantage leading to potentially more informed decisions.

In a couple of months of testing the software has worked well and without undue problems.  It is simple to use and pretty intuitive once you have understood what it is trying to tell you. The ability to export your chosen output is very useful both for further analysis and pure record maintenance. If you do have any questions the support is prompt and informed.

CONCLUSIONS

There are a number of ratings services available and I consider the Good Bet offering to be a positive addition to the range. Potential users need to check out the methodology on the manual system before deciding to advance to the Automatic service.

By using the framework provided it will be possible to develop your own nuances and preferences to hopefully improve your betting outcomes. There are testimonials on the site which indicate a wide range of successful uses and the response of the service to enhance the software following requests is encouraging.

There will be a time investment needed to assimilate the underlying methodology but after the initial effort the time saving should be considerable especially if using the Automatic Service which is a steal at the low monthly subscription – I would venture to suggest that if you are happy with the initial offering the subscription add on is a no brainer.

If making your own selections for horse racing betting is the way you wish to go then you should consider this option very seriously. A fair price is charged for the method and excellent value for the automatic daily output.

The Judge

February 13, 2018 By reviewer Leave a Comment

I must admit that I am generally pre-disposed towards tipsters that specialise rather than those that cover the whole field for their chosen sport. Here the anonymous Judge concentrates his efforts on a specialist type of greyhound racing and offers his selections via an daily email service.  He argues that Open races carry the larger prizes and thus attract the better animals allowing more predictable outcomes from his form reading. He has been involved in the sport for many years and aims to find the value overlooked by the bookies.

On signing up you will receive a welcome email setting out how things work and advising on staking. Here a 200 point bank is advised with each selection individually staked at up to 5 points. Emails are delivered at varying times during the day dependent on when the prices seem attractive and it is also possible to access them through the member’s area of the Betfan website. The advices are “no frills” with current best price and source quoted. In the main straight win bets are offered with the occasional each way and forecast seen.

Prices vary significantly from odds on up to 34 but are generally between 3 and 6. The highest winner was at odds of 11 and a winning run of 7 was seen with the worst losing streak at 10. Average stake is all but 4 points and the correlation between stake and price is not obviously defined.  With 3 or 4 bets most days there is usually something going on.

As seems to be the way whenever a review starts, the service had a blip with a 40 point draw down seen before a strong recovery over the next 2 months and is currently showing a profit of 169 points at a very respectable ROI of 14.55%. I mentioned the alternative types of bet advised and as the analysis shows none of these have produced a profit in the trial so far. Presumably intended as stake savers for the main selection the forecasts have been successful just once.

A look at the historic proofing on the Betfan site shows that the service has performed consistently well and our trial to date seems to continue the trend. I have never felt as though a winner is far away and bank growth of 84% in 3 months is certainly worthwhile. We have been looking at another greyhound service alongside this (Premier) and the story there has been much less rosy.  I should also mention that a special service was set up for this year’s Greyhound Derby racing and has also been successful. The subscription is at the top of the middle range but if you consider the sums payable in the review, the cost per point of profit has been £2.91 which is acceptable value.

I am happy to classify the service as positive and would recommend a look for those seeking a profitable addition to their betting portfolio. The niche has been well exploited and I suppose the only potential negative might be the bookmaker taking a dim view of your success.  We will continue to monitor and update the performance regularly.

Update 30/9/2018: An almost continual success story since the review including the notable tip for the winner of the Irish Derby at odds of 16/1. Our sample now stands at over 650 runners and the 31% strike rate is both creditable and profitable. The review has been going for nearly 8 months now and produced profits of 596.8 points at an ROI of 23.7% which is a pipe dream for most services. The starting bank is all but 4 times higher and I would continue to recommend the service as a sound investment for punters.

Racing Bet Data

February 9, 2018 By reviewer Leave a Comment

This is a review I conducted in 2015 and which still holds water today.

The author of this new service is also behind Football Bet Data, which was recognised as betting product of the year 2014. Those who have used both services will be aware of the similarities in presentational style. And more important they will know that Chris is keen to provide as good a service as possible to his subscribers.

It is possible to get a feel for the basics of the site free but to make effective use of the options available a subscription is necessary. This allows access to the database which covers UK and Irish racing and has historic data back to 2002. The site is updated daily with results and odds information. Form aficionados will find this to be a great source of information.

A narrative description can hardly do justice to the scope of the service and I suggest that interested users take an hour out and just explore what can be done. Its pretty intuitive and of course the use you wish to make of the site will depend on your own racing interests and requirements. This could be as simple as a jockey/trainer combination history or taking into account multiple filters which you can select.

Your selection output is then analysed in a summary table offering profit data which is an effective way of checking the validity of your plans. If required you may download the output into Excel for further manipulation.

I thought that it might be useful to have an acquaintance who is much more of a racing form expert than me take a look at the service and his comment was that:

“the service is really easy to use and the geekier among us could spend hours reviewing data. But it won’t appeal to the quick fix league. I have previously looked for such a site but never found anything so good. For anyone with a system it should be possible to test to destruction in a few hours or add the filters that might just make it work!”

Talking of systems this will be the next development stage when it will be possible to save searches and thus find your selections readily on each day. This will take the value of the whole site up to even higher levels and they are pretty good already.

As discussed the system will not appeal to all but for anyone with an interest in form analysis it is at the very least worth checking out in detail. A 1 month subscription will hardly break your bank and the annual subscription level is significantly below what you might expect to pay for such a comprehensive resource.

We would recommend that you give it a thorough check out to see how it may help you improve your betting performance.

Recommended.

Football Bet Data

February 9, 2018 By reviewer Leave a Comment

I make no apology for repeating the review I undertook in 2014 – the service is still excellent and worth serious study for those who want to devise their own betting strategies and not rely on tipsters.

Every now and then we come across a little goldmine and this service may well just be one. It will appeal to the statistically minded football betting fraternity especially those who want to develop their own systems.

Initial access is free so you can see what is available and there is a video showing how to use the service. If you want to make full use of things you will need to upgrade to advanced membership.

There are 2 main elements to the service – historic data and predictions. Both cover some 65 leagues across the world and go back as far as the 1997-8 season. Any report that you generate can be exported to Excel and then developed further as the user requires.

I have included an example of a report downloaded plus the analysis that is derived automatically from the report (don’t worry about the actual figures on this – my report was just to illustrate the way data is presented and not aimed at a killer system!)

You can see that example here

Systems can be saved by the user so that reports can be run as each week’s events become live. Because of the ever changing nature of the input data the reports are considered accurate for events up to the date run. They include the predicted odds and the maximum odds considered applicable as well as final score number of goals and result forecasts.  The odds predictions calculations are explained in a PDF and this demonstrates the great detail which is underpinning this service. Users can define their requirements to very specific settings and of course refine these as they review the out put.

Using the service is relatively straightforward even though the interface is a bit clunky – no doubt a product of the longevity of the service and the significant amount of underlying data that needs to be made available. Downloading the output is simple.

In addition to the main services (monthly/annual subscription) there is an additional product which attracts a one off payments. The Betfair Tool is an Excel download which allows the user to green up on any game where there is an in play market. The tool is used in conjunction with the score predictions from the main service.

There is no doubt that this site offers much useful and potentially profitable information for those who are prepared to put in some effort to interpret it for their personal use. If users have questions the customer service is both prompt and effective.

To investigate whether the products are useful for you will take a small investment – if the basic site information does not convince you – but the amount involved is miniscule and not really a consideration if you are serious. On this basis we are happy to recommend members consider the offerings.

Football Bet Data – Review Update 10/07/2014

Earlier in the year we reviewed this service which has been around since 2006. It is the brainchild of Chris who looks after everything personally but clearly does things right as evidenced by the positive comments we have seen since publishing the review.

The service website has recently been given a makeover and additional features have been added which improve further the potential value of the service.

Note – February 2018

I spoke with Chris who is as on the ball as ever and tweaking the service when required. He tells me a revamp of the website is in hand and should be completed by the summer when there will also be more video training available.

Don’t forget to take a look at the sister site which offers a similar service for horse racing – review here – and you can access both sites for a reduced overall subscription.

Excellent value whatever option you take and still well worth investigating.

Racing Intelligence

February 8, 2018 By reviewer Leave a Comment

The author has been putting together sports betting services  for some years now – his golf service has been successful in the long term and he has just launched a greyhound offering. Here we have a specialist horse racing tipping line which is designed for the higher stake punter. At nearly £120 per month subscription (including VAT) a subscriber will need to place substantial bets to justify the involvement. The author suggests that £100 per point or more is the level you should consider.

On subscribing you receive access to a members area which offers detailed instructions on how bets will be advised and should be placed. The bookmakers offering the best prices are specified and if anything is not clear support is readily available by email or telephone.

Now there are many services which use so called “inside” information as the basis for their tipping, drawing on sources in or close to the training stables. This is a rather more sophisticated version of the genre which has contacts inside some bookmakers who advise Matt when certain punters place bets. These punters are classed as markers by the bookies and are considered to give a real guide to a horse’s prospects when they back them. We are told that prices can be cut almost immediately on receipt of bets from these sources.

So the service will advise subscribers by text(SMS) as soon as possible when information is received about these bets. The advice will specify win or each way and the points to be staked on the selection. In theory up to 10 points can be advised but to date the maximum has been 7 with the average just under 4. The intention is that bets are placed with BOG bookmakers but my experience is that the advised prices can usually be matched on the exchanges.

In practice the system has worked well with clear advices sent to the appropriate mobile. The mix between each way and win bets has been pretty even with initial prices up to 5.0 seeming to be the win criterion. The prices have often moved quickly and indeed sometimes not available by the time the SMS has been received – however, as will be seen from the detailed results the number where the ISP has been less than that available on receipt of the SMS is a significant majority tending to support the underlying premise of the service that subscribers are getting the chance to back at good prices. The prices advised have ranged from odds on to 33/1 with the average ISP standing at 4/1.

Proceedings started well with 2 winners from the first 3 selections but then things were rather static and after a couple of months there was draw down on the bank of 20 points. But as the rain stopped so things changed on the track and since a run of 4 consecutive winners in early May the service has not looked back. In all 95 runners have been advised with 43 (45.3%) offering a return and a profit of 116.6 points has been accumulated. I worked on a 50 point bank which would translate to a 233% capital growth and the ROI is an impressive 32.53%.

As with any service confidence is key here and the experience of the first couple of months could have put off many – although perhaps punters staking at this level are prepared to take a longer term view than most. The signs do seem to be good and I imagine the founder subscribers will be pretty satisfied with their investment thus far. At £100 per point staked the subscriptions have been covered 29 times.

I did also look at an alternative method for using the service with a lesser risk profile that the straight backing intended. In the knowledge that prices were likely to contract I thought that backing to lay on the exchanges might well work and this has proved to be the case. Just taking the advised and ISP prices and trading the same initial sum as recommended for the bet would have produced a 91 point profit and no doubt the traders among you would achieve better if able to devote more time to the scenario.

In summary a service that seems to have good potential so long as the risks are personally acceptable – some wide swings on the bank have been seen. We will continue to monitor and update results monthly. A positive rating is certainly justified and if progress continues will see an increased star rating.

Update 1 October 2018: Sound progress has been made here since the initial review with a much more consistent profit achieved. Over 200 selections have run and although the strike rate has decreased slightly to 43.6% profits have continued. We now see bank growth of 400% and an ROI of  24.4%.

It was suggested that the high price might mean that punters should stake £50 per point or more to take full advantage of the service but the subscription cost per point to date has been less than £4 per point so a lower stake would still have been worthwhile. The service is run very professionally and I am happy to continue to recommend it to members.

Dutch Betting by Exponential Bet

January 20, 2018 By reviewer Leave a Comment

Ryan is one of the good guys in the often murky world of sports betting advice. He ran the excellent Zero Hype operation until forced to discontinue because of family issues and Exponential is his new vehicle offering a range of betting strategies and systems. He treats his clients as if they were using his own cash which is a great positive in my book – he will always help and guide both clients and enquirers.

This service uses a little know Betfair feature – BSP Multiples. It offers selections for horse racing covering several runners in each race and often combining races into multiple bets. A recent addition to the service has been the inclusion of singles races where dutching is potentially profitable. Unusually you can either subscribe to an advice service or purchase the method and so make your own selections. If you choose the latter course you will receive selections for 3 months which allows you to check you are using the system correctly.

I should emphasise that this is a low risk system and so you are always betting at odds on – but with several horses running for you the high strike rate acheived means the returns are very acceptable. There are 3 levels of bet advised which are staked at 5%, 2.5% and 0.5% of your betting bank respectively. The singe bets (low stake) have only started recently and my results do not include any of these as I have not set up the bot needed to be able to place them without having to monitor the individual races. (The review update will cover these but you can rely on the results disclosed on the site as being accurate.)

If you are using the email service then bets are possible from Tuesday through to Sunday – Ryan takes Mondays off and considers the general standard of races poor thus reducing potential for selection. Normally selection emails arrive close to midday and you will need a couple of minutes to set up your bets – that’s it. If you are self selecting then the process could take up to an hour. For those unaware of how to use the BSP multiples platform there is a video tutorial.

The majority of bets advised now come into the “One Dutch” category which is the highest staking option. I have seen 85 bets since the review started and a remarkable 95.29% strike rate which at level stakes translates into a profit of 33% of your starting bank. It is suggested that progressive staking be used which would have improved this further.  The ROI is 8.4% which for such a low risk service is good – and likely to improve when the single bets are added as the odds here tend to be significantly better than the original multiples. For the purposes of showing the outcomes on the proofing area I have treated 1% of the bank as 1 point.

For those looking for a simple low risk method of betting on horses then this will be ideal. I would regard it as being a foundation element for any betting portfolio offering a good return at minimal risk. The return can be improved by using the DIY option but I would suggest that you could better occupy your time elsewhere and make use of the email service.

I have awarded a 5 star rating here and will keep monitoring of course but do not expect a significant change in future outcomes.

Exponential Football Betting Service

January 20, 2018 By reviewer Leave a Comment

The background here is excellent – Ryan ran the successful Zero Hype operation before family issues forced a discontinuance for a couple of years. Exponential is the new vehicle which offers systems and strategies developed by Ryan personally. He has always been hot on customer service and this has continued. All selections are backed by him personally and so he has a strong vested interest in being profitable.

This element of the Exponential site offers a straightforward win tipping service for football and unlike some of the more trumpeted services concentrates on the major leagues where predictability is more certain. This may mean fewer selections but if the end result is a profit that is fine. Average price to date has been around 1.80 for pre-match selections.

The strategy for the service is simple – each bet aims to win 0.5% of the progressive balance so if you started with £1,000 the initial target is £5. Should a loser occur then the loss is recovered over 2 bets so stakes never become disproportionate to your bank and importantly your mental state! The majority of bets are placed in the Match markets with Over/Under and Both to score the support acts.

Selections are advised by email for pre-match bets and should a bet be advised in play this is done via a Whats App group message. No analysis is given –  although Ryan will always be happy to debate his reasoning with you individually if you wish – and the pre match selections are usually at least 2 hours before the game. It is suggested Betfair is used for placing bets but there is no reason why bookmakers cannot also be raided. Initially it was suggested that Betsender Bot be used as this calculates the staking including any recovery and places the bets just before kick off. However, recently some issues have arisen and an expansion into additional markets such as Asian Handicap has meant that the recommended procedure is now to place bets directly on your chosen platform.

Since starting the review I have seen over 150 pre match bets and a further 35 in play – the latter are less than Ryan will be showing on his results as I am aware I have missed some alerts mainly due to a pathetic G4 signal in the area I live. Readers can certainly rely on the site results disclosure as being accurate.

It is fair to say the pre match selections have been more successful than those in play but both are showing a profit over the trial. The strike rate for pre-match is 57.24% and in-play 60% but the latter tend to be a lower odds and so the return is a little less. I know that a points profit is the usual yardstick for services but with the staking plan involved here this can be a bit misleading so I prefer to highlight the bank growth – over 20% – and the ROI which is 7.82% to date. For a soccer service with relatively low odds and such a conservative staking plan this is very acceptable.

At £29.99 per month the subscription is firmly in the mid range and perhaps the only question mark is the bank needed to make it profitable – my subs would have been £240 over the trial to date and so an initial profit target of £10 would have seen these covered and some cream left over. This would mean staking between £15 and £20 for most selections to date. Liquidity is unlikely to be a problem in the markets used for the service.

I am happy to add this service to the positive category and will continue to monitor it. Good for those with limited time who want to be guided closely in what can be a rather volatile sphere of betting.
