This service was derived from a small private operation which I looked at in 2013 and was then taken up by the Betting Gods publisher to reach a wider audience. The author, Robin, had always impressed me with his industry knowledge and an ability to keep calm when things may not have been going quite right and return them to an even keel.
One of the original services that offered selections the night before racing in order to take advantage of prices that could offer additional value there are now many copycats and the bookmakers have become aware that punters who follow this sort of service may just cost them cash. If Robin had managed to keep the style to himself and just have his clients in the know there might not be so many people with restricted or closed accounts now!
The practical operation of the service is simple. Emails are sent to clients early evening the day before racing and normally contain 3 selections which should be backed with 1 point from a recommended 50 point bank and using a best odds guaranteed bookmaker. Often selections are backed in to much lower prices and waiting for industry SP will not work. You may however consider the possibilities of trading the next day and leaving a free bet which many of the selections achieve.
Performance has generally been positive albeit some hiccoughs along the way but £1,000 bank in late 2013 would now (September 2017) be standing at over £11,000 with an impressive ROI of all but 16%. Over 3,100 bets now placed with a strike rate of 21% at average odds around 6.20. In points terms a profit of 517 since day 1.
A service such as this is a good foundation for a betting portfolio. It is at the low end of the risk scale, has a demonstrable positive track record and is reasonably priced. There is an unconditional 60 day money back guarantee available for new subscribers so you can see what you are getting risk free.
Happy to give the service a POSITIVE rating and will be continuing to monitor in the future.
Update 30/11/2017: A strong month in November with 19 points profit from 17 winners at a strike rate of 24%. It is now 4 years since the service launched and it continues to offer good long term prospects. There will probably need to be some management of book makers to keep accounts open but the service pretty much does what it says it will. Rating remains Positive.
Update 31/12/2017: Midway through December it seemed as though the next banking milestone £12k at £20 per point) was a soon to be forgotten milestone but a poor run of results since then has seen a decline below that mark and an overall loss of 7 points in the month. Not a cause for concern and any service that does not see similar experiences is probably too good to be true!
After some 3450 runners I think we can have some confidence that things will be restored before too long and we will update again at the end of January.
