The big news on the betting scene over the last week has been the massive £15 million pool in the Scoop 6 after 12 weeks of roll overs. Finally on Saturday 8 lucky punters managed to forecast the result of the 6 races winning £1.3 million each.
Three were betting shop punters, three winners were syndicates and two were Betfair high rollers. This Saturday the eight punters will try to find the winner of the bonus race to scoop another £5 million and the best of luck to them all.
It transpired that more money was bet on the Scoop 6 than the Grand National, Derby, Royal Ascot and Cheltenham Festival. No surprise really when you consider what you can win for two quid.
Myself I would lay out about £20 on a little perm. The question is would you rather have a score on a 2/1 winner to win £40 or try and win millions, for at the end of the day the forty quid barely buys two rounds of drinks or a months supply of the Racing Post.
On the tipping front we have had the most amazing time on Fold4Gold with the Lucky 15 bet. Twice we have landed 3 winners out of the 4 selections. The first time making just over 60 points profit and on Saturday just under 350 points. The losing selection going down in a photo which would have given us over 4000 points in the bag.
All the selections can be checked on the Betfan proofing pages. Also if that wasn’t enough Bankers Bonus waded in with Noble Silk @ 12/1 and Ted Spread @ 7/1 landing a 104/1 double.
Now Betfan are doing a special offer on Fold4Gold which is £4.95 for the first month.
It’s only available by clicking below and it will expire in a few days.

Now we are delighted if you want to join us but please please understand this is a jackpot club and these type of multiple bets are not landed daily, weekly or even monthly however when we do hit the target we can change peoples lives.
Please realise I don’t need your fiver and it’s not a trial period it’s a special good will offer at a massive discount. If you are a client who thinks every tipster is only as good as there last winner please don’t join as I do not want to see punters dropping off the tree if we have an indifferent run. However if you have a sensible outlook on betting come aboard and join the fun, profit and excitment this service can give you.
Today’s Howies Hottie goes in the lucky last the 9.15 Kempton a mile tight knit handicap. The selection is St Paul De Vence from the Paul Cole yard. After a long period on the sidelines he returned to run well at Pontefract and then was placed over 10 furlongs at Newmarket. A return to this shorter trip should suit and this lightly raced improver should be right in the firing line.
EYECATCHERS
FLAT RACING
Ordensritter traine C.Down – Led 2 out at Goodwood and a mixture of soft ground and trip just found him out. When conditions improve he should be competitive.
Noble Silk trainer Lucy Wadham – Easy winner at Haydock he could still be ahead of the handicapper.
Prince Of Burma trainer D.Evans – Frustrating type who showed a bit more sparkle last week after missing the break.
Joe Eile trainer J.Quin – Looked to have every chance over the 7 at Catterick but ran out of steam in the final furlong. He is very well handicapped at present and should be winning soon.
Bond Club trainer G.Oldroyd – Ran yesterday at Redcar but did not see out the trip a return to 6 furlongs is the answer.
Litigant trainer S.Durrack – This is more a bonus tip than eyecatcher. This gelding Had beaten both Noble Silk and Ted Spread who made up the bankers bonus big winning double last Saturday. He is waiting for decent ground and should be followed.
Back next Wednesday have a good week and be lucky.
