My many Golf Bet Profits members know they are part of one of the most successful sports tipping services in history and last week though incredibly frustrating shows why.
From just four outright selections in two Tournaments we finished 12th, 2nd, 3rd and 2nd for three winning bets out of four. It was however a day when nails were chewed and the TV had cushions thrown at it as Scott Jamieson our 40/1 shot blew a five shot lead, the equivalent of being 3-0 up at half time and losing. It did not make for pretty viewing and though Jamieson is a good young player it may take him a while to get over this.
We then had little Timmy Clark and Charles Howell the third (I don’t know where the other two were) as our only selections in the US Tournament.
They both played superb especially Timmy who at times was in great danger of falling into the hole and is so tiny had to be rescued twice after becoming trapped in greenside bunkers.
We were beaten however by a young player playing his first ever Tournament on the PGA Tour. This is an extremely rare occurrence and we can count ourselves extremely unlucky in both Tournaments but what it does tell us yet again is the power of the unique Golf Bet Profits in pinpointing golfers at big prices. It’s brought us over 800 points clear profit and it looks like the updates and changes over the Winter break are working already.
This week we have two cracking Tournaments and all eyes will be on Abh Dhabi as the Tiger makes his way over to take on the World number 1 Rory Mcilroy. Woods has an ego the size of the Middle East so when he is constantly reminded of the fact the young Irishman is numero uno it will be winding him up big style. Young Rory has not been practicing much in between watching his girlfriend lose at tennis and I fear for him this week because this course is tough. By comparison the Tiger has locked himself away in what resembles a boxers Training camp away from all er temptations lets say. This is as good as Woods is going to get so if an undercooked Rory beats him this week don’t expect Tiger to be signing many autographs as he hurries to the airport. My ratings suggest neither will win and we are going in heavy on one player backed up by two lively outsiders. It looks like being another fascinating week so get with us if you are not already.
I look forward to seeing you on the fairways.
Back next Tuesday.
