Heartbreak on Sunday as Justin Rose our selection was in the clubhouse leading after an astonishing last round 62.
It looked like at the very worst we would be in a playoff and then young Rory birdied 4 out of the last 5 holes in one of the most impressive finishes to a Tournament I have ever seen.
Rose can be confident that next year he can land that elusive first Major title because it took astonishing golf to beat him in Dubai.
We have a very busy week at Golf Bet Profits as there are two big money invitational Tournaments this week for us to get stuck into.
In California the Tiger hosts the Chevron World Challenge with a stellar field from all over the World. Woods likes to win this one very badly but it’s a while since he teed it up and at the odds he is too skinny for me this week.
Then we have what used to be the richest Tournament in the World the Nedbank World Challenge at Sun City. Lee Westwood won this in breathtaking style last year but for me you cannot back him after witnessing his abject display in Dubai at the weekend. He has recently sacked his caddie Billie Foster and on last weeks showing Foster has had a lucky escape. The course is difficult and long with some iconic holes like the par 5 ninth over water and the 16th which is one of the best par 4s in the World again over water.
It’s golfing heaven as Sun City is on in the morning till lunchtime then a nice break for the racing, small tea then settle down for the Chevron World Challenge in the evenings.
Christmas shopping? Sorry never heard of it!
Join us at Golf Bet Profits as we are banging on the door of a big win and you don’t want to miss out when it opens!
Back next Tuesday.
