I was hoping to pull off a Friday double whammy – by landing a bigger price free tip along with a decent priced selection to my subscribers. I came close, the free tip Aayamzalad turned close to early leader but credit Oakfield Lucy she pulled out more from the 5th bend. But earlier my subscribers helped themselves to a 4/1 winner when Blackrose Eve banged out as expected and made every post a winning one. On a personal basis I had a good night and I find when I go racing I could provide a late service for subscribers that could prove very fruitful. I got two strong pieces of info trackside both duly won at 6/1 and 3/1. It was a pleasant late night drive home as a result! Got home to watch the latest offering on Betfan Tv an interview from the local snooker club – no snooker being played but lots of very good professional horse racing gambling advice.
Saturday after reading the latest comic from Andy Bell, I see he has some sympathy for Mrs D who I have to say knows what side her bread is buttered, which is why she she is still here right by my side – though I see no sign or mention of any such lady in Andy’s life. Perhaps he’s a treat them mean – keep them keen, kind of guy! Got a good word for one at Monmore, Turning Tables was told to take the 15/8 on offer from bet365 as it was going to be punted. Put it out to my subscribers then sloped down to my local ‘magic sign’ to watch the race. The dog went off 4/5 but was stopped more times than the youths in Tottenham.
Sunday after a quick visit to the kennels, the day was all about the William Hill Greyhound Derby draw. I was like a kid in a sweetie shop waiting for my dog Blackstone Marco to come out. Seemed like that he was not in the drum but eventually we came out in Heat 30 in arguably the hottest heat of the entire 1st round. No bets today.
Monday after getting the form cards for all three nights of heats in the 1st round. It was time to do my homework. I set about going through every dog in every heat. No bets today.
Tuesday saw me ensconced in my office for a second day, I was keen to get my ante post selections out to my Derby subscribers later on. I put up a selection for my subscribers that was fancied at Sheffield Biddys Fire but it ran like a damp squib. Ante post selections duly sent out early evening.
There is still time to get my ante post selections at the best prices if you join my service. For a one off fee you get my selections for the entire duration of the Derby.

Wednesday back into the office, head down to sort out tomorrow’s heat bets along with studying the Hove card for any potential winners. I did fancy one strongly at Romford and duly put it out to subscribers. Flawless Floyd ran a very good race and nailed the long time leader right on the lollipop to land us a 4/1 winner. This made it a profitable month for my service along with a good profit on the week.
Thursday Derby day was here and I sent out a very early advice to subscribers before dropping Mrs D and her bestie at the airport for their Dublin trip.
Now the early rounds of the Derby can be treacherous as this is a six round competition and it’s all about qualification not winning that’s a bonus. I drew a blank on day 1 but it’s a marathon not a sprint. However both day 1 ante post selections that ran made it safely through to round 2.
Tonight I will be at Romford watching my dog Head iton Tom run after being off injured for six weeks and keeping a careful eye on what happens on day 2 of the Derby. They say fortune favours the brave. So I will take on the ante post gamble Kereight King in his heat with Seamus Cahill’s Brother John who is already race fit and in the zone with a fine win last weeks trial stake.
