The excitement of a big Festival sets the pulse racing like nothing else in the racing world and here we are at day 1 of the Aintree spectacular.
Over the years this has become so much more than the Grand National itself with a whole host of grade 1 races and big field handicaps to get stuck into.
Theories abound about how to play Aintree from a punting perspective with one of the better known being look closely at horses who have missed Cheltenham and been kept fresh for this meeting. It’s a theory not without some validity as even an easy winner at Cheltenham has a hard race and many find it hard to reproduce their form a few weeks on.
To counter that though you have to ask why has a horse missed Cheltenham and 9 times out of 10 it’s because connections thought it couldn’t win at Cheltenham!
We think of the Grand National itself as a gruelling staying race which is true but that must not cloud the judgement about the rest of the meeting which is all about one thing, speed. The vast majority of the races are run on the Mildmay Course which is sharp and very very quick. If you don’t have pace you cannot win round here and horses struggling to keep up will invariably make mistakes and these fences can be brutal.
Today looks tricky Capital TRICKY but at Stable Line Gold we have four strongly fancied runners in what is a massive week for the service. If your not involved already then get involved because big priced gambles are teed up and ready to go this week.
Many of you saw the quality of inside info I’m privy to last Friday as BetFan.com/tv gave you Brae Hill in the Spring Mile with plenty of 10/1 available. Brae Hill duly stormed in leading the whole way and landing us a huge gamble in the process. Stable Line Gold is the home of all my inside info bets so if you enjoyed Brae Hill then you know where to come.
Look out for the BetFan TV email tomorrow as some more free bets and another exclusive offer will be coming your way.
Have a great Aintree Festival and get some Stable Line Gold in your life!
Back next Thursday.
