Hello from York where I looked out of my hotel window last night and saw Noah on the Lendyl Bridge, it rained and rained brutally last night and we have testing ground for the Ebor.
Many of the horses will not like this ground and it’s strange after the red hot Summer we have had that suddenly we have a big race on bad ground. They will come up the middle today so I would not be too worried where your horse is drawn what you must be sure of is has your selection won on heavy or very soft ground.
My private members have been on Opinion for weeks and whilst you will not be able to get the 10/1 that we got I would still urge you to back the horse at 13/2 with Sportingbet each way.
This is an extremely talented horse who after winning at Ascot had a nightmare run at Haydock. He goes up in trip today and I think that is key as he will improve for it. He has won on heavy before so the recent rain is fine and it’s all systems go so trust in the Dons opinion and back Opinion to end a great week at York.
My members have made good profits this week and as we head towards the Leger and the big Newmarket Festivals I intend to start building up those profits so join up and get involved.
My highlight of the week has to be The Fugue who showed us all what a class act she is and it’s only fair to congratulate William Buick who the Don has given a kicking lately. He rode her like she was a superstar and she proved she is. In this form on proper fast ground oppose her at your peril.
Right I’m off to buy Penny an umbrella! Have a great day and come on Opinion!
Back next Saturday.
